Panomec wormer (ivermectin) PANOMEC® Paste 1.87% w/w ivermectin Parasite control for horses, ponies, mares and foals. Panomec Paste is used for the treatment and control of adult and immature roundworms, lungworms and bots of horses and donkeys. Panomec Paste is a modern wormer designed to be easy to use, highly effective against the widest range of parasitic roundworms and all the common bot species that can affect your horse, and safe to use in all types of horses and young foals.
As with all de-wormers, it is recommended to use de-wormers with different active ingredients every time you de-worm your horse. Also take into consideration that different times of the year bring different sets of worms and some de-wormers are better at dealing with them than others.
As a General Rule:
January/February or July/August: Pyrantel
March/April or September/October: Moxidectin
May/June or November/December: Ivermectin
